I'm passionate about helping organisations do meaningful research with the communities they serve, and translating it into actionable insights to create positive change.

With qualifications in health promotion, international health and policy, my career has spanned research, policy & advocacy roles in youth, sexual and mental health promotion in workplaces, schools and homes, at incredible organisations like Beyond Blue and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. I spent five years on the board of the Australian Association of Adolescent Health amplifying youth voices and am part of the global network of One Young World ambassadors. In my work, I engage people with many & varied lived experiences, often of marginalisation, in a way that ensures safety & centres their voice in program & policy decisions.

I'm completing a PhD in sexually explicit media literacy education, exploring parent, teacher and youth perspectives & experiences. My research has been published in the Sex Education journal. As such, I’m a strong advocate for comprehensive, inclusive, evidence-based relationships and sexuality education - that gives young people the skills to unpack the media surrounding us and have healthy, respectful relationships. I’m also passionate about helping parents and carers support that learning at home with open, positive communication.

In my spare time (lol), you’ll find me at the gym, playing the flute (badly) or vibing to Taylor Swift. I grew up in Perth but now live in Melbourne, though visit often. We Italian boys can’t be away from our families (or the food) for too long.
